An exciting opportunity has arisen for a head chef to come and join our team, located between the stunning Western Lake District fells and Cumbrian coast. This hotel has a restaurant that can accommodate up to 90 guests and banqueting facilities for up to 250 people.
You will take responsibility for all aspects of the kitchen including; ordering food, preparing food, training staff, creating rotas, stock control, as well as controlling financial performance of the Kitchen area.
A love of British produce and cookery is key to this role! We want someone who is a real foodie, with the skills to drive and motivate the kitchen team. We are looking for a candidate with a natural drive for excellence, commitment and achieving of the highest standards possible, with the ability to prepare foods to a high standard and possess good management skills.
